Grey openwork triangle shawl crocheted by hand, with fringe and a subtle sparkle.

This shawl is crocheted by hand, one piece at a time. Its openwork pattern is made of small puff stitches set in a diamond lattice, with long fringe along both edges. Mohair gives the yarn a soft halo and the metallic thread a subtle sparkle.

The triangle shape can be worn open over the shoulders or tied with the point down the back. It looks lovely over a plain sweater, dress or coat.

Because it is handmade, each shawl differs slightly; stitch density and fringe length may vary a little.

Care

Hand wash in lukewarm water with a mild wool detergent; press out the water without wringing and dry flat. Do not hang to dry or iron.
